FOSB Workshop Brief

The 618-meter-long FOSB workshop comprises six core processes:
  1. Forming Process
Glued wood chips are oriented into panels using Germany’s Dieffenbacher 8-head forming machine. Modular heads enable diverse FOSB products with internationally leading surface quality, water resistance, and physical properties. Critical for customized production.
  2. Hot Pressing
Panels are pressed via Dieffenbacher’s CPS+ continuous press (65m × 2.8m—Asia’s largest). Reduces energy by 20% and wood consumption by 15% versus traditional presses.
  3. Cooling & Flipping
Pressed panels are trimmed by edge/diagonal saws, inspected for bubbles/thickness, cooled below 40°C, and auto-stacked in a 10,000m³ buffer warehouse.
  4. Sanding
Swish Steinemann/Sufoma 8×24′ sanders achieve ±0.05mm thickness tolerance at 50m/min (1,300m³/shift). Auto-tracking systems enhance efficiency and surface quality.
  5. Sawing
Germany’s Antec/Sufoma corner saws cut panels (260mm height; 120m³/h) using 7,500×2,500mm angle systems to minimize edge defects.
  6. Packing
Sufoma auto-packing lines handle 80m³/h (25 bundles) with stretch-film wrapping for waterproof/dustproof storage. Height sensors enable fully automated logistics.
Luli Wood champions craftsmanship and green innovation, enforcing strict quality control across R&D, trial production, and customized manufacturing to deliver premium products globally.
