60MW Biomass Cogeneration Project Brief
The ¥500 million project utilizes tree bark, sawmill residues, and agricultural straw as fuel for three 170t/h high-temperature high-pressure CFB boilers and two 30MW back-pressure cogeneration units. Upon completion, it will fully meet the industrial park’s electricity and thermal demands, generating 400 million kWh of clean power annually while reducing CO₂ emissions by 279,000 tons. By replacing fossil fuels and coal-powered utilities with biomass energy, it enables full-cycle utilization of wood resources, slashing direct pollutants/carbon emissions and indirect emissions from external power/heat procurement.
