Dieffenbacher Continuous Press
Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Eppingen, Germany, Dieffenbacher is a global leader in manufacturing hot press systems and complete production lines for wood-based panels. Its core product, the Continuous Panel System (CPS) press, has gained worldwide recognition and undergone continuous innovation.
Luli Wood Industry utilizes the world's longest German Dieffenbacher CPS+ continuous press, spanning 64.5 meters in length and 8.5 feet (approximately 2.8 meters) in width. With integrated oil-cylinder control, it achieves a thickness precision of ±0.05mm, representing the highest single-line production capacity globally.
The CPS+ press features a redesigned oil-cylinder layout applying pressure directly to heating plates. Flexible lateral pressure adjustment minimizes frame deformation, and optimized thickness control ensures minimal slab thickness deviation and improved surface/edge quality.
Precision gap control balances heat-plate thickness, cylinder quantity, and frame distance. This maintains consistent pressure distribution and plate gaps, preventing slab rebound between cylinders. Consequently, the design enhances adhesive curing stability, reduces thickness variation, improves surface finish, and saves material.
An integrated cooling section addresses China's growing demand for MDI formaldehyde-free products. Converting the final heating zones into cooling zones offers three advantages:
1) Rapid surface cooling reduces adhesive pre-curing and sanding waste;
2) Higher slab moisture tolerance accelerates core-layer adhesive curing, boosting line speed and capacity;
3) Lower post-press temperatures minimize vapor pressure, reducing blistering risks.
